Choose your same day Taj Mahal tour package

A day tour from Delhi is the practical choice when time is short. The drive on the Yamuna Expressway takes three to four hours each way, which leaves enough of the day for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort before the return.

Questions people ask

What is included in a Taj Mahal tour package?
Private air-conditioned transport, an English-speaking guide, hotel pickup and the sightseeing itself. Monument tickets, meals and hotels depend on the package and are listed before you book.
Can I customize the itinerary?
Yes. Travel dates, interests, pace, hotel location and any special requirements all shape the plan.
When is the best time to visit the Taj Mahal?
October to March is cooler and more comfortable. Early morning visits are popular for thinner crowds and softer light.
Do you run same-day tours from Delhi?
Yes, by private AC car and by Gatimaan Express train, both with pickup and return arranged.
How do I book?
Send your date, number of guests and preferred tour. We confirm availability, inclusions and the total price before you pay anything.
Is the Taj Mahal open on Friday?
No. The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors every Friday, so we plan Taj tours for any other day of the week and can fill a Friday with Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri or Mehtab Bagh instead.
Which gate of the Taj Mahal is best to enter from?
The East Gate usually has the shortest queues and is closest to most of the better hotels, so we use it on most tours. The West Gate is the busiest because it serves the city side and the tour coaches.
How much time do I need at the Taj Mahal?
Two to three hours is comfortable for the gardens, the main mausoleum, the mosque and the riverside terrace. With an early start you still have plenty of the day left for Agra Fort and lunch.
Can I see the Taj Mahal at night?
Yes, on five nights around each full moon, but not on Fridays or during Ramzan. Tickets are limited and sold a day in advance, and you view the Taj from a distance in a timed half-hour slot.
