These terms apply to tours booked with Tajview Holidays, Agra, India. They were last updated in October 2026.
Booking and confirmation
A tour is confirmed when we have your written acceptance of the itinerary and quotation and the agreed deposit has cleared. Until then, hotels and vehicles are held but not guaranteed. Quotations are valid for fourteen days unless stated otherwise.
Payment
Day tours are usually paid in full on the day. Multi-day tours take a deposit at confirmation with the balance due before or at the start of the tour. We will tell you the split before you pay anything. Prices are per person and assume two travellers sharing unless the quotation says otherwise.
Cancellation by you
Cancel more than seven days before travel and the deposit is refunded in full. Within seven days, hotel and transport costs already committed are deducted. Within twenty-four hours, or if you do not appear, the tour is charged in full. Day tours can be cancelled free of charge up to twenty-four hours before the pickup time.
Cancellation or changes by us
If something outside our control makes a tour impossible — weather, a monument closure, a strike, a road blocked — we will offer an alternative of equal value or refund the part that could not be delivered. We do not refund the parts already provided.
What is and is not included
Each tour page lists its inclusions and exclusions. Anything not listed as included is not included. Monument entry fees, camera charges and meals vary by tour, so check the page for the tour you are booking.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for valid travel documents, visas and any vaccinations your own country or India requires. Tell us at booking about medical conditions, mobility needs, allergies or dietary requirements that affect the itinerary — most can be accommodated with notice, and few can be fixed on the day.
Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in any tour and we strongly recommend it. Cover for medical treatment, cancellation and baggage is the traveller's own responsibility.
Liability
We take reasonable care in selecting the hotels, drivers and guides we use. We are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, acts of government, monument closures and the acts of third-party suppliers.
Monument closures
The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays. The Red Fort in Delhi is closed on Mondays. Other sites close on public holidays and for official events, sometimes at short notice. Where a closure is known in advance we plan around it; where it is announced on the day we rearrange the itinerary.
Photographs
We occasionally ask guests whether we may use a photograph from their trip on our website or social media. We only use photographs where you have said yes, and you can withdraw that at any time by writing to us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
