   Itimad-ud-Daulah, the quieter marble tomb known for its inlay, then Mehtab Bagh across the river to watch the sun go down behind the Taj.

3. Day 2 · Sunrise

   The Taj Mahal at first light

   Back at the Taj Mahal gate before sunrise with your guide, for the monument at its quietest.

4. Day 2 · Morning

   Agra Fort

   Breakfast and checkout, then Agra Fort — the Mughal palaces and the terraces that look out over the river to the Taj.

5. Day 2 · Afternoon

   Back to Delhi

   The drive back to Delhi, arriving late afternoon or early evening at your hotel, the airport or any address you choose.

We usually collect you at about 8 am from your Delhi hotel or the airport, and the drive to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway takes around three hours. That leaves time to check in and rest before the afternoon sightseeing.

Are the Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh tickets included?

No, those two tickets are not included and are paid at the gate; your guide will help you buy them. Taj Mahal and Agra Fort tickets are included.

Which days can we take this tour?

Any day, as long as day two does not fall on a Friday, because the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. In practice that means starting on any day except Thursday, and we will check your dates when you enquire.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than seven days before travel for a full refund of the deposit; closer to the date, costs already committed with hotels and transport are deducted. Our terms page has the details.
