   The street stalls for textiles, jewellery, traditional clothes, bags and Rajasthani crafts. Bargaining is expected.

4. 1:00 PM

   Lunch break

   Lunch at a local restaurant and a breather.

5. 2:00 PM

   Chandni Chowk

   The old bazaars of Shah Jahan's city — wedding wear, jewellery, spices, dry fruit and fabric, lane by lane.

6. 3:30 PM

   Dilli Haat

   The open-air crafts market where artisans from every state sell handlooms, textiles and jewellery at fixed prices.

   Free shopping time

   Go back to the market you liked best, or finish the list.

Will you take us to commission shops?

No. You choose where to go and we take no cut from any shop.

Can we add a guide?

Yes — a licensed guide can join for a small extra charge, useful in Chandni Chowk.

Do shops take cards?

Connaught Place and Dilli Haat mostly do. Janpath and Chandni Chowk stalls prefer cash or UPI.

Which days are best for this shopping tour?

Monday to Saturday works best, as many shops in Chandni Chowk close on Sundays. If Sunday is your only free day, we can replace Chandni Chowk with markets that stay open.

Should we bargain, and how much?

At the Janpath stalls and in Chandni Chowk, bargaining is normal and expected, so start well below the first price and settle somewhere in the middle. Dilli Haat stalls and the government emporiums in Connaught Place sell at fixed prices.

Can we visit other markets instead of these four?

Yes. The stops are flexible, so we can swap in places such as Khan Market, Sarojini Nagar or Lajpat Nagar depending on what is on your list. Just tell us when you book or on the morning itself.

Can you drop us at the airport after shopping?

Yes. Many guests book this on their last day, keep their luggage in the car and finish at Delhi Airport instead of the hotel. Let us know your flight time and we will plan the day so you reach the airport with plenty of time.

Is lunch included?

No, meals and drinks are not included. Your driver will suggest a clean local restaurant near the markets around 1 pm, with plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices.

Is it safe to leave our shopping bags in the car?

Yes, your driver stays with the car and your bags while you shop, which is the main point of the tour. We still suggest you keep passports, cash and valuables with you in the busy markets.
