Can we go inside Jal Mahal?

No, the Lake Palace is not open to visitors, so it is a photo stop from the lakeside promenade. Your guide will point out the best angle, and the light is lovely around midday when we pass.

How do we get up to Amber Fort?

Most guests walk up the stone path from the lake, which takes about 15 minutes at an easy pace, or take a jeep, paid locally since it is not included. Your guide will suggest whichever suits your group best.

Will we be taken to shops along the way?

Only if you ask. We never force shopping stops, and if you would like to see block printing, gems or textiles, your guide can add a stop at a place that makes its own work.

Where do we have lunch, and are there vegetarian options?

Your guide suggests a clean local restaurant serving Indian, Rajasthani or continental food, and vegetarian dishes are easy to find everywhere in Jaipur. Lunch is not included, so you order and pay for what you like.
