Questions people ask

Is this a private spiritual tour in Delhi?
Yes. It is a private tour for your group only, with your own AC car, driver and licensed English-speaking guide, and pickup from your hotel or the airport in Delhi NCR.
How long does the Delhi temple tour last?
About 10 hours, from roughly 8 am to 6 pm, which covers the time at each temple and the drives between them.
Are entry tickets included for temples and monuments?
Most temples and places of worship in Delhi are free to enter. Paid extras, such as special exhibitions or shows, are not included unless they are listed in your quote.
Is this tour suitable for senior citizens?
Yes. You travel in a private car door to door, and we can slow the pace, cut down on walking or add rest breaks whenever needed.
What should I wear during temple visits?
Please wear modest clothes that cover your shoulders and knees. You will remove your shoes at most temples, and at the Sikh gurudwara both men and women need to cover their heads; scarves are usually available there, but bringing your own helps.
Are photography and videography allowed at all sites?
You can take photos at most places, but some temples do not allow cameras inside the main shrine. At Akshardham, phones and cameras are not allowed at all and must be left at the cloakroom, and Akshardham and the Lotus Temple are closed on Mondays. Your guide will tell you the rules at each stop.
Where do we have lunch, and is it vegetarian?
Around 1 pm your guide takes you to a well-regarded vegetarian restaurant near the temples, which suits the day well. Lunch is not included, so you pay at the restaurant and can order whatever you like.
Can we eat at the langar at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib?
Yes. The langar is open to everyone regardless of faith and is served free, seated on the floor with the community. Your guide will show you how it works, and you can also see the kitchen where volunteers cook for thousands every day.
Are we expected to make donations at the temples?
No, donations are entirely optional and are not part of the tour price. If you would like to leave an offering, a little small cash is handy, and your guide can explain the customs at each place.
