Questions people ask

Is the Ganga Aarti included in the package?
Yes. You will watch the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat as part of your Varanasi sightseeing, and an early morning boat ride on the Ganges is included as well.
Is hotel accommodation included?
Yes, 7 nights across Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi in handpicked 3, 4 or 5-star hotels of your choice. If you would rather book your own rooms, we can also quote the tour without hotels.
How many days do I need for the Golden Triangle and Varanasi?
Eight days works well and gives each city enough time without rushing. If you prefer a gentler pace, we can stretch it to around 10 days with a few rest days.
What does the cost depend on?
The price on the page is per person for two people sharing, and it depends on group size, car and hotel category, as well as the class of train travel you choose. We confirm a fixed quote with you before you pay anything.
What time does the Varanasi morning boat ride happen?
The boat sets off early, usually before sunrise, so you can watch the ghats wake up as the sun rises over the river. The ride is included in your tour.
Is Sarnath included in the Varanasi sightseeing?
Yes. Sarnath, a short drive from the city and one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world, is part of your Varanasi sightseeing day.
Which days of the week affect the plan?
The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays and the Lotus Temple on Mondays, while the Red Fort is a photo stop from outside anyway. We arrange your dates so each sight falls on an open day.
How much luggage can we bring on the train and flight?
The Vande Bharat chair car has overhead racks, so medium suitcases work better than very large ones. Domestic economy flights usually allow 15 kg checked baggage, and any excess is paid at the airport.
Can we add an extra night anywhere?
Yes. Many guests add a night in Varanasi or Jaipur for a slower pace, and we will send you a revised written itinerary and price before you confirm.
