1. Day 1

   Arrive in Delhi

   Our representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. Free evening. Overnight in Delhi.

2. Day 2

   Old and New Delhi

   Pickup at 9 am — Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and the spice market, a photo stop outside the Red Fort, then Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, a drive past Parliament House, Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple. Overnight in Delhi.

3. Day 3

   To Agra — the Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh

   Checkout at 10 am and about three hours to Agra. Itimad-ud-Daulah, then sunset at Mehtab Bagh. Overnight in Agra.

4. Day 4

   Sunrise Taj Mahal and the road to Jaipur

   The Taj Mahal at sunrise, breakfast and checkout, Agra Fort, then about four hours to Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight in Jaipur.

5. Day 5

   Jaipur city tour

   Amber Fort, a photo stop at Jal Mahal, the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar and Patrika Gate. Overnight in Jaipur.

6. Day 6

   Fly to Amritsar, Wagah in the evening

   Transfer to Jaipur airport for the flight to Amritsar. You are met and taken to your hotel, then out to the Wagah border for the evening retreat ceremony. Overnight in Amritsar.

7. Day 7

   The Golden Temple and old Amritsar

   The Golden Temple and its langar kitchen, Jallianwala Bagh, the Durgiana Temple and the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, finishing around 3 pm. Overnight in Amritsar.

8. Day 8

   Departure from Amritsar

   Breakfast, checkout and drop-off at Amritsar airport in time for your flight.

What is the cancellation policy?

Can this Delhi Agra Jaipur Amritsar tour be customized?

Yes. We can change the order of cities, add nights or switch hotels to suit your plans, keeping in mind that the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays when we schedule your Agra day.

What should we wear at the Golden Temple?

Cover your head with a scarf or cloth, remove your shoes and socks, and wash your feet at the entrance. Modest clothing is best, and headscarves are available at the temple if you forget.

How does the Wagah border ceremony work?

The ceremony is held just before sunset, and we leave Amritsar early so you can find a good seat, as seating is first come, first served. Carry your passport and leave bags in the car, as they are not allowed inside.

Can we eat at the langar in the Golden Temple?

Yes. The langar serves a free vegetarian meal to everyone, all day, and sitting on the floor to eat with thousands of others is one of the most moving parts of the visit.

How much luggage can we take on the flight to Amritsar?

Domestic economy flights usually allow 15 kg of checked baggage plus a small cabin bag. Any excess is paid at the airport, so pack light or tell us in advance.
