Questions people ask

What is the best time to visit Ranthambore National Park?
October to March brings pleasant weather and good tiger sightings, while April to June is hot but tigers often gather near waterholes, which can make spotting easier. The park closes for the monsoon from 1 July to 30 September.
Can I do a private safari instead of a shared one?
Yes. Shared safaris are standard on this tour, but we can book a private Gypsy for your group at an extra cost, subject to availability with the forest department.
What are the current Ranthambore safari gate and zone prices for 2026?
Safari fees are set by the Rajasthan Forest Department, are revised from time to time and are higher for foreign nationals than for Indian citizens. We confirm the current rate and your zone when you book.
How far is Ranthambore from Agra, and how long is the drive?
Ranthambore is about 180 km from Agra, roughly a 4 to 5 hour drive in your private AC car. We break the journey with a visit to Fatehpur Sikri along the way.
How do I get from Jaipur to Ranthambore, or Ranthambore to Jaipur?
The two are about 150 km apart, a 2 to 3 hour drive by road. On this itinerary you drive to Jaipur after your final safari, and sightseeing there starts the same day.
What wildlife resort options are available in Ranthambore?
We offer handpicked 3, 4 and 5-star stays, from comfortable lodges close to the park gate to resorts with gardens and swimming pools.
Is there a family-friendly version of this itinerary?
Yes. The pace is relaxed and the safaris are a big hit with children, and we can arrange extra beds or connecting rooms on request.
Do you offer honeymoon packages?
Yes. We keep the same route and add special touches such as a candlelit dinner, a room upgrade or a private safari for the two of you.
What does the cost depend on?
The price on the page is per person for two people sharing, and it depends on group size, car and hotel category, and whether you choose shared or private safaris. We confirm a fixed quote with you before you pay anything.
Is a luxury version available?
Yes. We can run the same route with 5-star heritage hotels, a private Gypsy safari and a private car for every transfer.
