Your day by day

1. Day 1

   Fly to Varanasi, the evening aarti

   Pickup from your Delhi hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Varanasi. Your driver meets you on arrival. Check in, then a boat on the Ganga ending at Dashashwamedh Ghat for the evening aarti.

2. Day 2

   Sunrise on the river and the old city

   A boat at dawn along the ghats, then breakfast. The rest of the day covers Kashi Vishwanath, Annapurna and Durga temples, Tulsi Manas temple, the BHU campus and its Birla temple, Bharat Mata temple, the old lanes and a silk weaving workshop.

3. Day 3

   Fly back to Delhi

   A free morning, then the transfer to Varanasi airport for the flight to Delhi. You are met on landing and dropped at your hotel, or at the international terminal if you are flying on.

Is it possible by train instead?

Yes, on the Vande Bharat Express. It saves money but adds a day of travel.

What time do we leave Delhi on day one?

We pick you up about three hours before your morning flight, so the exact time depends on the flight we book. We confirm it with your itinerary.

How much luggage can we take on the flights?

Economy fares usually allow 15 kg of checked baggage and a small cabin bag. Excess baggage is not included and is paid at the airport, so pack light for the short trip.

Can we take phones into Kashi Vishwanath Temple?

No. Phones, bags and cameras go into lockers outside, and your guide will help you with them before you go in.

Can winter fog affect the flights?

In December and January, morning fog sometimes delays flights in north India. We choose flight times with some margin and keep the Varanasi plan flexible if anything moves.

Can we connect from an international flight?

Yes. We can collect you at Delhi airport on arrival and drop you at the international terminal on day three. Leave a few hours between flights to be safe.
