Your day by day

1. Day 1

   Delhi sightseeing, then on to Agra

   Pickup at 9 am from your hotel or the airport. Old Delhi first — Jama Masjid, a cycle-rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, a walk through the Khari Baoli spice market and a photo stop outside the Red Fort. Then New Delhi — Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, a drive past Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple. In the evening, about three hours on the expressway to Agra. Overnight in Agra.

2. Day 2

   Taj Mahal at sunrise, Agra Fort and the road to Jaipur

   The Taj Mahal at first light, then back to the hotel for breakfast and checkout. Agra Fort — its palaces, audience halls and views of the Taj — then west towards Jaipur with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri and the Buland Darwaza. About four hours in all. Overnight in Jaipur.

3. Day 3

   Jaipur, then back to Delhi

   Breakfast and checkout. Amber Fort on its hill above the Aravallis, a photo stop at Jal Mahal on Man Sagar Lake, the Hawa Mahal and its 953 windows, the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar observatory. Then about four hours back to Delhi, with drop-off around 8 pm.

What is the cancellation policy?

What is the best time to do this tour?

The tour runs all year, but October to March offers the most pleasant sightseeing weather. Keep in mind the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so we plan your Agra day around that.

How far is Delhi from Agra and Jaipur?

Delhi to Agra is about 230 km, roughly three hours on the expressway, and Agra to Jaipur is about 240 km, around four to five hours by road.

What should I pack?

Comfortable clothes, good walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and your passport and travel documents. Modest outfits that cover shoulders and knees are handy for temples and mosques.

What cultural experiences can I expect?

Grand Mughal and Rajput architecture, lively local bazaars, regional food and centuries-old heritage sites across all three cities.

Do I need to book tickets in advance?

It is wise to book early, especially in the October to March peak season. Once your tour is confirmed we reserve the hotels, car and guides, so the logistics are handled for you.
