Your day by day

1. Day 1 · 8:00 AM

   Delhi to Jaipur

   Pickup from your Delhi hotel or the airport and a four to five hour drive to Jaipur. Check in and rest.

2. Day 1 · 2:00 PM

   City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal

   After lunch, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory, a photo stop at Hawa Mahal and the painted arches of Patrika Gate.

3. Day 2 · 8:00 AM

   Amber Fort, Jal Mahal and Galta Ji

   Breakfast and checkout, then Amber Fort, a stop at Jal Mahal and the Galta Ji temple in the hills, known for its monkeys.

4. Day 2 · 2:00 PM

   Back to Delhi

   Lunch, then the drive back to Delhi, arriving around 7 pm.

Yes. Monument tickets are included in the price, and your guide handles them at each gate so you skip the ticket queue.

Can I be picked up from Delhi Airport?

Yes. We can pick you up from and drop you back at Delhi Airport, or at any hotel in Delhi NCR.

What is the total driving time between Delhi and Jaipur?

The drive usually takes about 4 to 5 hours each way, depending on traffic. We normally leave Delhi around 8:00 AM on day one and get you back to Delhi by about 7:00 PM on day two.

Are the monkeys at Galta Ji safe?

They are used to people and generally harmless if left alone. Keep food and loose items out of sight and follow your guide's lead.

How do we get up to Amber Fort?

You can walk up the stone path in about 15 minutes or take a jeep, paid locally. The elephant ride is not included.

Where do we have lunch?

Lunch is not included, but your driver and guide suggest clean restaurants on the highway and in Jaipur. Vegetarian food is easy to find everywhere.

When is the best time to do this tour?

October to March, when the days are pleasant for walking around the forts. In summer we start early and keep the outdoor sights to the cooler hours.
