1. Day 1

   Arrive in Delhi

   Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel.

2. Day 2

   Old and New Delhi

   Jama Masjid, a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, the spice market and the Red Fort walls, then Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple.

3. Day 3

   To Agra

   Three hours to Agra. The Baby Taj and sunset at Mehtab Bagh.

4. Day 4

   Taj Mahal at sunrise, then Ranthambore

   The Taj Mahal at sunrise and Agra Fort, then via Fatehpur Sikri to Ranthambore — about six hours.

5. Day 5

   Two safaris in Ranthambore

   A morning and an afternoon game drive in the national park, with the hours between at the lodge.

6. Day 6

   Ranthambore to Jaipur

   Four hours to Jaipur. The City Palace, Jantar Mantar and a photo stop at Hawa Mahal.

7. Day 7

   Jaipur

   Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, the Galta Ji monkey temple and the Albert Hall Museum.

8. Day 8

   Jaipur to Bikaner

   Five hours into the desert. Evening free.

9. Day 9

   Bikaner, then Jaisalmer

   Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh and Lakshmi Niwas palaces, Karni Mata temple and Gajner Lake, then on to Jaisalmer.

10. Day 10

    Jaisalmer and a night in the dunes

    Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Patwon Ki Haveli, then out to Khuri for a camel ride, sunset, folk dance, dinner and a night at the camp.

11. Day 11

    To Jodhpur

    Five hours to Jodhpur. Evening at the Clock Tower market.

12. Day 12

    Jodhpur

    Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan, the Sardar Government Museum and Mandore Gardens.

13. Day 13

    Ranakpur and Udaipur

    South through the Aravallis, stopping at the Ranakpur Jain temple, to Udaipur.

14. Day 14

    Udaipur

    Jagdish temple, the City Palace, a boat on Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar, Saheliyon Ki Bari and Bagore Ki Haveli.

15. Day 15

    Fly out of Udaipur

    Transfer to Udaipur airport for your flight to Delhi or onward.

Yes, it is fully private, with your own AC car, a professional driver and licensed English-speaking local guides for the whole journey.

Are monument entrance fees included?

No. Monument entry tickets are paid at each site, and your guide buys them with you so you do not queue twice. Current fees are in our Taj Mahal ticket price guide.

Is hotel accommodation included in the tour?

Yes, 14 nights with breakfast and taxes in handpicked 3, 4 or 5-star hotels of your choice. A without-hotel option is also available.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than seven days before travel for a full refund of the deposit; closer to the date, costs already committed with hotels and transport are deducted. Our terms page has the details.

Is the Lake Pichola boat ride included?

Yes, a boat ride on Lake Pichola is part of your Udaipur sightseeing.

Is the tiger safari included in the tour?

Yes, you get two safaris in Ranthambore National Park, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, in a shared Gypsy.

Is the camel safari included in the tour?

Yes. In Jaisalmer you will ride camels over the dunes at sunset, followed by folk dance and dinner at the desert camp.
