Questions people ask

Which zone of Corbett will we visit?
Bijrani or Jhirna for day safaris, or Dhikala if you want to stay inside the park — Dhikala permits open 45 days ahead and go fast.
When is Corbett open?
Dhikala and Bijrani close for the monsoon, roughly mid-June to mid-October. Jhirna stays open year-round.
Is the drive from Agra too long?
It is the longest leg of the tour, about seven hours. We can break it with a night in Delhi if you prefer.
Can we skip Jaipur?
Yes. A shorter seven-day version keeps Delhi, Agra and Corbett.
What if our Delhi sightseeing day is a Monday?
The Red Fort and Akshardham are closed on Mondays, as is the Lotus Temple. We either plan your arrival so Day 2 is not a Monday, or swap them for Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Raj Ghat.
What happens if our Agra day falls on a Friday?
The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so we set the dates to keep Day 6 clear. If your dates are fixed, we switch the Agra and Fatehpur Sikri days around so you still see the Taj at sunrise.
What time do the Corbett jeep safaris run?
The morning safari starts around sunrise and the afternoon one in the mid-afternoon, each about three to four hours. Gate timings change with the season and your naturalist and driver handle the check-in.
What can we do in Corbett apart from the safaris?
River walks, Corbett Falls and the Garjia temple are part of the free afternoon. Activities such as river rafting in season, ziplining or angling can be arranged locally and are paid separately.
What should we wear in Corbett?
Neutral, earthy colours, comfortable shoes and a hat. From November to February the foothill mornings are cold, so bring a warm jacket and gloves for the open jeep; by May and June it is hot during the day.
